Keeps getting better Review by Lewis
I made this about a year ago, and tasted it at 4 months and thought it was so-so. Two months later it improved quite a bit and it didn't make it past the 9 month mark before it was all gone. I just got back from Napa valley and I can truely say after 8 wine tastings, that the ultra premium wines are truely comprable to the $25-$35 wines that I tasted and even better than some of them. If you are new to wine kits you're in for a treat when you share your wine with friends. They will probably be quite skeptical before they taste it, then shocked expressions come over their faces after they taste it. I've made 9 kits in the past year and I would rank this a close 4th. My favorite kit Review by Beau
I have brewed all of the Wine Experts Pinot Noir kits and this is by far my favorite. It is still young in the bottle (two months) but it is incredible flavor, great body, mouthfeel and a fruity nose with some spice. Honestly I love this kit. I just purchased my second kit and will probably brew one every other month. I would say the flavor/quality is on par with my favorite $30-50 bottle of wine from the store. (Posted on 5/28/13)
Excellent! Review by Adam
We made this kit when it was called Selection Estate two years ago. We forgot about it and it aged in secondary for well over a year in the basement before it was discovered again. I figured it had gone bad but decided to taste a sample. I was shocked at how it turned out. We bottled it in time to bring half a case to a wedding. People raved about it and I am glad we didn't take it all. If you can let this one age for some time you will not be disappointed. A juicy delicious wine that will make you wish you didn't give so much away! (Posted on 5/3/13)
