- My new go-to yeast Review by Pat

This is completely worth the extra few bucks to get a very clean, active yeast, especially if you're looking to accentuate hop flavor! In spite of a few brewing mistakes, my citrus IPA turned out fantastic and I'm convinced this yeast had everything to do with it! This is my go to yeast for IPA and anything that I want the hops to be the focal point. It's clean, crisp and very predictable. I brew all types of beer and I grab this yeast most of the time. (Posted on 10/11/12)Rating - Crisp!! Review by anthony

We used this yeast on our maple nut brown and it is easily the most crisp and clean tasting beer we've ever brewed! I'll use this yeast time and time again. No yeast starter and the fermentation was insane!! Glad we used a blow off (Posted on 5/14/12)Rating - Outstanding yeast Review by William

This is my first time using a White labs liquid yeast. I think the results were amazing. It had a vigorous fermentation to put it mildly, actually this yeast just pukes krausen. I didn't use a starter but just pitched the vial and literally there was airlock bubbling within 12 hours. My results were very clean and neutral in flavors. I used it on a cream ale and I think it turned out great. Further, my bottles were fully carbonated at 1 week.. literally, with a nice head. I really recommend this yeast. This strain is clean and crisp. It was by far one of the more potent strains I've ever used. This strain blew the airlock off the top of my carboy. This is when I learned the value of a blow off tube. I'd recommend this for most ale styles. (Posted on 1/22/12)Rating - Great Yeast Review by The Chad

I will definitely be using this yeast again. I used the yeast in an extract batch. I did not use a starter. OG was 1.074. FG was 1.016 after 7 days. (Posted on 1/10/12)Rating - My new favorite yeast! Review by Davidchicken

This was the first White Labs yeast I've used and I love it. Very clean and very active yeast. I used this in place of Wyeast 1056 in my favorite IPA recipe. The starting cell count is lower than with the Wyeast but if you make a starter it really doesn't matter in the end. (Posted on 8/19/11)Rating
