Wyeast 2124 Bohemian Lager yeast strain ferments clean and malty, with rich residual maltiness in full gravity lagers. A versatile yeast from the Weihenstephen. Apparent attenuation: 69-73%. Flocculation: medium. Optimum temp: 48°-58° F

NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

Wyeast Bohemian Lager yeast 2124

Be patient. At 55 degrees it takes me from 40 to 50 days to completely ferment out. It’s worth the wait. Delicious beer.

Great Kellerbier

This yeast made a Kellerbier, an Austrian Lager, and an Oktoberfest.
All beers came out great with the Kellerbier and Austrian Lager being perfect, the Oktoberfest was good but lacked some body.

The yeast worked surprisingly fast, with Kreusening appearing in the 2nd day after pitching. Fermentation temperature at constant 55 deg F. Active airlock action tailed off quickly at day six. Post lagered brew was the envy of my brewing friends.
