If you are looking for a fast acting, very fruity and estery yeast, then this is the one for you. It gives a very distinctive , yet pleasant character to ales when paired to the right style.. (Posted on 10/2/13)
A Wee Bit Fickle, but Worth the Wait Review by Christopher

It's hard to say if heat affected my last two packs or if something else is slowing them down, but they have been very slow to start. I know this variety has worked very well in St. Paul Porter in the past and likely will with my two current batches. (Posted on 9/23/13)

This is a great yeast strain!! It's no wonder a few of the best micro breweries use this as a house strain. If your looking for an east coast style beer then this is the one for you. Just make sure you use a starter, properly aerate, and do a diacetyl rest when called for. Your in for a treat! (Posted on 7/24/13)
Favorite Yeast Yet!!! Review by Paul

I have used this yeast in 6 brews now, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I have had no starting issues at all and it seems to be a vigorous yeast. All six brews have come out splendid from light and dark ales. I highly recommend this product to all of my brewing buddies! (Posted on 5/9/13)
Top-notch yeast Review by Jay

This is my absolute favorite yeast to work with. It has a lot of character and plays well with a variety of malts. It also makes for very clear beers. If anything, it can be a little too flocculant: don't let your starter sit too long, or you'll have to shake it pretty vigorously. I'm told it can be a slow starter, but in my experience, it starts up very readily and ferments quickly if you make sure that you prepare a starter and take the time to properly aerate the wort. These are things you should be doing anyway, so I don't see it as any additional hardship.

This is the yeast of choice for many great breweries (Shipyard, Dogfish Head, Geary's, to name a fiew). Try it out yourself, you won't be disappointed. (Posted on 1/20/13)
