The specialized equipment for mixing and bottling your own soda and root beer. Soda extracts can leave an aroma in plastic, so don't use your beer or winemaking equipment. Bottling bucket has graduated markings, which takes the guesswork out of water additions and batch volume. Perfect for the kids
This is a great little kit for the kids to have fun making soda. It is a rather simple process and easy for them to complete.

How many gallons is this bucket?
C G on Apr 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: That kit features 6.5 gallon bucket
Hello, I've been reading about bottled cocktails and I decided to give it a try, do you think that if I purchase your root beer kit and I add some rum at bottling it will still work and get an alcoholic carbonated root beer? Or this might be too much for the yeast and it will die?
Cristian G on Sep 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The yeast would be impacted. If you keep the alcohol percentage around 5-6

the yeast still should carbonate the root beer

though it may take longer..so you would want to keep a close eye to make sure you can still halt fermentation by putting the bottles in the fridge once tense with pressure. Alternatively

some root beer is set up for only force carbonating in keg systems

this would be much simpler and reliable.
