It is a must have!
I was worried bout making the jump to a glass carboy and I would not use one without the Brew Hauler. Makes lifting the carboy in and out of my fermentation freezer safe and easy. It's well made and worth every penny.

Glad to have this
I brew upstairs and store my carboys downstairs, moving them down stairs with the brew hauler makes this much easier. Also helps when cleaning.

Strong product
Very strong and safe way to move carboys. As long as you double check it is centered before moving it will never fail.

Brew Hauler
The Brew Hauler made moving my filled carboy much easier, since I brew on the main floor of my house and ferment it in the basement. Simple and great product.

Love it!
I used this on my 6.5 gallon acid carboy on brewday last week. I can't believe I used to use the neck handle (while also supporting it from underneath as well) for so long. Carrying it that way was always awkward and would usually stir up a little bit of sediment from the bottom. One thing to note is that you should check and recheck the strap placement on the bottom straps to make sure they are evenly spaced. You also want to make sure that the handle straps are spaced 180 degrees opposite each other so the carboy doesn't start to tip forward or backward on you while carrying. Going to pick up another one of these for my secondary next week.

Helps a lot
Glass is hard to carry down stairs. It's even worse if there is any moisture on the carbon. The brew hauler works well.

Makes transport a breeze
I brew in the kitchen, but I store my primary and secondary (plastic) carboys downstairs while they work their magic. The Brewhauler makes moving up and down those stairs a breeze. agitation of my beer is kept to a minimum, even when moving the carboys by myself. Placing the hauler on the full carboys was really easy, once I got used to it. But I would recommend double checking the clip before you lift. It's not prone to unhooking, but I have had it a bit loose which wasn't very noticeable before beginning to lift the carboy.I'm very glad I purchase this.

great product
I brew upstairs in the kitchen, do primary fermentations at the other end of the house, & the secondary fermentations in the basement. This makes maneuvering the wet glass carboys so much simpler (& safer, when it comes to the stairs). Great product.

Will this harness work on 3 gallon carboys?
N A on Feb 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Never having seen a 3 gallon carboy, I can?t be sure. My carboys are 5 Imperial gallons (23 litres) and measure approx. 12? in diameter by 23? tall. If the 3 gallon ones are approx. the same diameter, they should work fine. Even if they don?t work well enough as purchased, you can always take them to an upholstery shop where they can adjust the straps as needed. I am very pleased with mine, though I had to have the lift straps extended so I can lift the full ones onto my workbench with an electric winch. (too old to lift them any more myself!)
Does this work for the glass 5 gallon big mouth?
J K on Jan 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not sure. I use it for glass carboys due to one broke on me and shattered. I really love the brew hauler and every time I pick up a full carboy I pray it holds. Use it all the time and works great.
