The Bubbler® represents a refined approach to a plastic fermentation vessel. A six gallon total capacity carboy, it takes a #10 stopper or universal PET bung.

Perfect for either primary or secondary fermentation of home brew beer, homemade wine, cider, and mead. Narrow neck eliminates excess headspace during secondary fermentation. Plastic construction is lightweight and will not shatter when dropped.

The Bubbler® is also available in 5 Gallon capacity.

Product Details

We've gone to the drawing board to focus on the important dimensions that help deliver a more consistent and high-quality product. This is no plastic water jug, it's a carboy with details where they count.

The plastic is thick and durable, to ensure rigidity and safety during all kinds of brewing operations. Free of plasticizers, BPA, DEHP, and any other extraneous compounds, this fermentor is purpose-built for your finest brews. Hydrophobic, which means it is easy to clean without the use of brushes - it also retains no odor, flavor or color from batch to batch, so it will last a long time.

Seals with a #10 stopper or universal PET bung.

Be sure to check out the Brew Hauler for easily moving a full carboy and the Brewery Essentials Plastic Carboy Buddy for all the accessories you'll need to get started.

Note: Standard carboy brushes will scratch plastic fermenters leaving places for grime to hide. A warm cleaning solution will suffice. Do not use hot water on plastic fermenters of any sort. To remove stubborn debris, drop a clean wash cloth into the Bubbler with some cleaning solution and shake.

Best darn home brew supply, hands down.
Quick delivery and a good deal for free shipping on a leap year. I buy from no one else. Customer service when I need them are always willing to do whatever it takes to correct any issues.

6 Gallon Plastic Bubbler
My first batch brewed in the bubbler turned out clean with no spillover. It is very easy to clean with some PBW. Lightweight and easier to carry than traditional glass bubblers.

Seems like and functions like an ordinary carboy. Nothing special

great while they last
I found a leak on the bottom of mine today. There was a very tiny rock on the floor under it which poked a hole right through it. Really liked it until this point, but I guess that is to be expected of plastic. Just take care of them and be careful.

What is the total height of this?
R E on Jan 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I just measured it. It is just exactly 20" high, and in case you need to know 11 1/4" in diameter at the maximum near the base.

But I am a bit surprised that Northern Brewer does not know the dimensions of the jugs that it sells!
What is the difference between the Bubbler and a Better Bottles carboy?
