Time Saver and convenient
I dont disassemble it, why bother? All its got in it is Star San, nothing to clean, so I dump the extra Star San back into the container I store my mixture in.I rinse my bottles very well after using them, so there is no gunk on them when I sanitize them.Dunk, spritz a couple of time, next bottle. I can sanitize 5 gallons worth pretty fast.

Distillery Trick - Love it!
Saw this at another Distillery, used to final rinse bottles in proofed product to ensure that rinse water would not change the proof. Works great, love it!

Great Device
Once you assemble it, with a bit of patience as to not bend the spring, and prime the pump, you are on your way to sanitizing bottles with just a couple of pumps. I set the Vinator up in between my bottle tree and bottling bucket. I grab a clean bottle off the tree, place it on the Vinator, pump a few times, let it drain and then procede to fill the bottle off the bucket. I bottled 15 gallons by my lonesome and could not have done it without the help of the Vinator. It made for a less frustrating experience for sure!!

Works Great If . . . .
The spring needs to be completely seated (i.e., screwed into) in the plunger. If that is done, the spring will be the proper length and will not bend during assembly. If your spring is bending, it is not properly seated in the plunger . . .Also, the device is not compatible with PET bottles as is because the bottle openings are too wide for the plunger stops. That shortcoming can be resolved by slipping some 3/4 PVC plumbing fittings over the plunger.

Awesome Value
This bottle rinser is worth its weight in gold. It is an awesome value, and makes bottle sanitizing quick and easy. Fast and simple to use.

Great if you don't have a dishwasher with a heating element
Well, we upgraded the dishwasher to a model that didn't have a heating element...well that pretty much makes it useless for sanitizing bottles, this is the next best thing and possibly better. I can clean and sanitize 50 bottles in about 20 minutes, a lot faster than my dishwasher did.Plus it attaches every so nicely to the bottle tree and it's Italian!

saves time and sanitizer
This is a must-have for bottling day, it saves a lot of time and trouble for such a low price.

good product, just unscrew between uses
Works great, but make sure to unscrew the pump mechanism from the base between uses. If left on, the tension from the spring will eventually crack the base of the pump, rendering it useless; this happened to the first one I bought. Wish someone had told me about it.

This sounds like it works fine for 12oz bottles, will it project sanitizer high enough for the larger 22oz or Belgian bottles?

BEST ANSWER: Hello Brian,

Thank you for choosing Northern Brewer! The Vinator will most definitely work for the larger bottles. It was actually originally produced for wine bottles which makes it powerful enough for the large beer bottles. I hope that this helps!
I can not get the rinse to come out the hole at the top. It seems the ball at the top prevents the rinse from spraying out the hole. What am I doing wrong

BEST ANSWER: Funny you should ask. We're not quite ready to set our distillery up yet, and we had put these into storage until we were ready for them. Just pulled one down and tried to assemble it. I know they can be made to work, as we saw one in use at another distillery, but wow - thanks to your question, I have discovered that this item is truly a POS. I can't make it work either, cannot even think about getting the spring assembled, but don't go by me - I'm just a 43 year veteran engineer. Seriously, this is garbage.
New rinser out of the box won't work. Doesn't prime/jet water out of the top. Ideas?

BEST ANSWER: Try making sure the screen on bottom (its removeable) is mot solid - I would then try operating without the screen (its about the shape and size of a dime). It may be limiting your priming. I would then double check to make sure the hole on top isnt clogged. You could also try and submerge the whole pump in a bucket of sanitizer solution for a few minutes and let it fill up. Good luck - Ive grown to really like this - albeit simple - unit for bottling.
