White Labs WLP380 Hefeweizen IV

$7.99

SKU# YP380

Flat Rate Shipping only $7.99 only from Northern Brewer

Large clove and phenolic aroma and flavor, with minimal banana. Refreshing citrus and apricot notes. Crisp, drinkable hefeweizen. Less flocculent than WLP300, and sulfur production is higher.

We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary Cold Ice Packs with all liquid yeasts. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip, given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.

Perfect banana notes
If you are looking for banana notes in your hefe, this is the yeast to use. We have used 4 different yeasts and this one gives us the characteristics we were looking for in a traditional hefe.

Great Yeast
This was the first time i ever used White Labs, I was very pleased with the results. There was a little more banana taste then i would have liked, but with conditioning I hope that it will mellow. The fermentation was very fast. I did not use a starter. I just follow the instructions on the label. I will use this yeast again.
