Wyeast 1272 American Ale II is fruitier and more flocculant than Wyeast 1056, slightly nutty, soft, clean, slightly tart finish.
Yeast cells are active and living organisms. A slight expansion in Wyeast packaging is normal and does not indicate poor yeast health.
