A shopper on Feb 20, 2017 BEST ANSWER: These Sankey couplers will come with a gas-in barb of 5/16", you can change that to another tailpiece with a 1/4" ID, that will be compatible with the gas lines in our set-ups. It has no tailpiece for the beer-out side, as they are often hooked up to faucet towers that would have a tailpiece attached to it. You can put a 3/16" barbed tailpiece on there, with a neoprene washer and a hex nut to hold it in place. Then the gas and beer lines can be hooked up to those hose barbs, so you can serve from a commercial keg. Another option is to replace both barbed tailpieces with "MFL" tailpieces, that can make it easy to swap back and forth between commercial kegs, and homebrew in soda kegs. However you set up the tailpieces, be sure to use 3/16" ID tubing for the beer serving side, with a length of 5-6 feet for a quality pour.
