It's all in the trash can
I am sure I would have loved the Caribou Slobber that I purchased with the fermenter But.....
I was using a bread proofing oven to maintain a 70 degree environment and the stupid oven got stuck on (no fault of yours).

Needles to say I had a melt down. Those poor plastic legs melted to the bun pan it was setting on so the whole thing went in the dumpster, brew and all. Maybe if I take up brewing again in the winter I'll stash it in the water heater closet as by building gets cold at night in the San Gabriel Mountains ( lows in the 20's highs in the 50's this time of year).

    Pleased with this purchase
I'm a first time brewer, just bottled my first batch from this fermentor and I'm quite pleased, it was easy to use and easy to bottle from the gasket inside the lid gets a little scuffed up from the top of the threads, I think a rubber gasket would solve this problem, but you can get extras off the site, this is and was a good place to start for me

    Not for experienced brewers
This kit would be an excellent choice for a first time brewer with other basic set-up pieces. Getting more that one would allow transfer for secondary fermentation. It does have a wide mouth for easy cleaning access, and a spigot to drain off wort. It does not have a way to expel trub / collect yeast, which is a primary reason for a conical fermenter.

First Timer and I have received rave reviews of my beer!
Fermenter works awesome. Trub is collected below the spigot inlet which left my cream ale surprisingly clear and sediment free, no need to secondary condtion the beer. I managed to fill 22-12 oz bottles. There are sevreal volume increments marked on the fermenter but they are rather faint.

Great fermenter for the price! Super easy to use. No siphons, no mess!
I purchased the 3 gallon Brew Demon because I was ready to upscale my 1 gallon brewing operation but wasnâ??t ready to commit to 5 gallons just yet. This seemed perfect. The Brew Demon comes with everything you need in a fermenter including an airlock with a rubber stopper. The valve on the bottom seems a little flimsy but seems to work just fine. When I first installed the valve I leak checked it with water and sure enough it leaked. I had to take it apart, reinstall it and crank it down really tight to get the leak to stop. I strongly suggest leak checking this unit with water or sanitizer before every brew. Once your wort is in the vessel you donâ??t want to be sticking your hands into it trying to stop a leak. The price seems pretty fair since it includes a recipe kit but if I paid $60 for the Brew Demon alone I would think itâ??s a ripoff. Itâ??s super easy to use and works well with the large opening and valve which basically eliminates siphons.

    Ok fermenter
If you are considering brewing small batches, this fermenter will work with just some considerations. First, the spigot is smaller than the standard ones found on the Big Bubblers. Also, its placement assures that the initial run will have trub (it should be a little higher on the fermenter). The plastic is somewhat thin and bends easily. There is no easy way to remove trub from the bottom since the bottom does not unscrew. With all that said, it works fine

    first time user
I really liked the idea of a two gallon batch. I make up a bunch of Christmas 6 packs for gifts and 2 gallon is better than a one gallon. Haven't bottled the beer yet. I did have an overflow during fermentation. The bubbler is a little different than what I usually use. I am going to try the vented cap next time. The directions for the beer recipe don't call to move the beer to another container before bottling, so I am a little curious to see how it bottles.

Good concept but bad material. I donâ??t think it will last more than five brewings.

I have recently purchased the 1 gallon small batch starter kit from your site and have brewed a couple of batches. Other than a larger kettle, what additional equipment will I need to transition to using this for 2 gallon batches?
    A shopper on Jul 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Well, besides more bottles, you should be good to go. If you do not have one yet, a wort chiller is the way to go to cool down your beer fast which makes for a better beer!

How tall is the BrewDemon+? I'm trying to estimate required cubic feet for a mini-fridge to fit both a BrewDemon+ for laggering and a Cannonball 1.75 gallon mini-keg for serving.
    A shopper on Jul 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, the BrewDemon is about 19" tall. Cheers!
Do you have to use a 2 gallon batches with this fermenter?
    A shopper on Jul 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, you could make less, but the dimensions are ideal for making 2 gallon batches.
Would using two 1 gallon kits work?
    A shopper on Oct 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, using two similar kits in conjunction should scale your recipe up and work fine. Hop utilization rates might change slightly, but it shouldn't drastically effect the outcome. One packet of yeast will still be enough, though using two won't hurt anything.
Does the bottom unscrew to get rid of the trub?
    A shopper on Jul 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, the bottom does not unscrew. The valve is high so most of the trub should remain in the vessel.
how about halving a 5 gallon recipe? will a 2.5 gallon batch work in this?
    A shopper on Aug 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, that is what I am doing, about cutting in half a 5-gallon recipe. Actual volume is about 3 gallons for the fermentor but you are going to want at least 1/2 gallon head space for the krausan. Recommend you leave the screw on lid barely on along with the airlock until the krausan starts to fall to avoid it blowing out the airlock. Once the krausan falls most of the way go ahead and tighten it on. Depending on how clean your wort was going into the fermentor you may have enough trub to cover the spigot when fermentation is done. All you have to do is run the sipgot into a glass to clear it out, then you drain the beer like normal into bottles or a secondary. Personally I don't screw with secondaries anymore unless I am lagering my beer. I just let it sit in the primary for 3-4 weeks and that settles out pretty much everything then I go to bottling or kegging.
Does this come in a 5 gallon model? For the same amount of work, I would much rather have 5 gallons not two!
    A shopper on Jul 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: BrewDemon makes an 8 gallon. Check their website.
Does the brew demon come with an air lock?
    A shopper on Dec 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Mine came with one, but it didn't work - never bubbled unless I pressed on the top slightly to overpressure the gas - The one that came with the BrewDemon was a regular type - maybe the other I have (the 2 piece one) might work better. If you don't get one, there is a little plastic stopper they send to snap in place. Beware that my in kit, I expected to get a filling/racking cane but mine did not come with one - I ordered 2 from BrewDemon and had them before my brew was finished. That was far more useful than the airlock. I also ordered a spare spigot since I read several accounts of the spigot getting broken.
I just sanitized with Star San after the directions told me not to. Will I die?
    A shopper on Dec 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Probably, just make sure you send me all your brewing equipment :) you should be alright, I use it on mine
Do you add priming sugar into the fermenter prior to bottling? Or do you have to use priming tabs?
    A shopper on Aug 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If there is any sediment in the BrewDemon you will want to transfer to another container to bottle from or use the priming drops.
I assume that I can use this to brew wine. Any reason why this wouldnt be good for this usage?
    A shopper on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can. It's nothing more than a fermentation vessel with a bottling spigot.
Can you buy two one gallon kits of the same beer and use this to brew a two gallon batch w/out any adjustments?
    Sean M on Oct 3, 2017
    BEST ANSWER: Yes
