I have brewed this kit and will keg it on August 2, 2016
I will let you know what I think when it is ready to drink. My brother had brewed this kit and I tried it. It was a great testing beer with the rye grains. That's why I decided to purchase and brew the RyePA kit.

Decent kit
Originally posted a review giving this 2 stars, but am increasing to 3 stars. Would have given it 4 stars but the fact that I had to use extra hops on top of what the kit came with kept me from it. This kit is so-so in general. Not a very hoppy kit and I don't think the Rye is as pronounced as I would like which might be due to it being in the extract opposed to actual rye grains. Initially it had a malty up front taste which wasn't necessarily bad but on the back end immediately after swallowing there was an odd bitterness that lingered. I then fined the beer with gelatin, and added an extra 1oz of centennial & .5 oz cascade hops to the keg and after about 5 days the beer has taken on a better taste and the bitterness on the back end is minimally noticeable. Won't be ordering this kit again.

Bought two kits
Shipping was prompt and accurate. I just bottled the California Common but the color and aroma appears to be fine. Have not made the RyePA yet.

High o.g.
Nice grapefruit flavor balances the rye, just bottled and looking forward to 2-3 weeks out to try. Glad to read somebody had a higher o.g. than mine. I thought I was crazy when I was getting a 1.095 o.g. after following the directions but there are alot of "fermentables" in the wort. Haven't bottled yet but did taste unconditioned out of the secondary and it does have a kick. Nice kit.

Rye in the Sky
I enjoyed this IPA because of the way the rye complimented the hop bitterness. This beer has a little kick to it, but the IPA presence is not overpowering. I added an extra ounce of hops to the dry hopping process and it came out great!

Yet another NB winner
This is a great beer. The rye and the hops compliment each other well. This is a heavier beer. I would absolutely brew this again. Because of the heaviness, I would tend to drink this in late fall and winter. I've yet to find a NB kit that was less than excellent.

1.065??? I don't think so
I brewed this today. With over 9 pounds of fermentables I have no idea why NB thinks this kit will produce an O.G. of 1.065?I ended up with 1.097 even after topping up with tap water more than I normal would. This will be a moderately big IPA. Close to a double in strength.

Heavy-hitting I.P.A. with rich rye complexity!
I love I.P.A.'s so I was excited to brew this one. Turned out great. Straight forward brewing with a dry hop 5 days before bottling. I achieved nearly 7.0 % a.b.v. with strict adherence to the instructions. This beer has big, "heavy-hitting" bitterness up front, with a bold and almost buttery rye body. This one will age gracefully I think and I'm looking forward to storing some for consumption next year... but maybe just a few.

Delicious
This is a great brew. The use of the rye grain gives this beer a unique taste. Immediately brewed again once the first keg was finished.

Great IPA!
I love IPAs and have brewed at least 3 straight. This is one of the best I've had, homebrew or store-bought! 10 days primary, 2 weeks secondary (5 days dry-hopping) and kegged it. I let it carbonate for a few days before trying a sip and it was out of this world! I let it sit for a couple weeks more and it just got better and better. Hydrometer read over 7% ABV, more than I had expected! Sure enough, one glass will getcha! I'll definitely keep this one in my cycle of brews and can't wait to make it again!
