Product Details

The BrewMometer has a unique patent pending dialface that guides the brewer through the brewing process, helping to improve quality and consistency. The hermetically sealed glass face ensures a long life. The BrewMometer features a large 3" diameter dial with low parallax stepped face, a fine pointer, crisp large lettering, and a custom made temperature range.

The 1/2" NPT model has 1/2" male pipe threads for installation in a kettle with a 1/2" FPT port. The stem is slightly too wide to fit through a weldless thermometer bulkhead, but it will work with our Weldless Adapter - #7552.

Easily recalibrate this thermometer using the calibration screw on the back of the dial housing.

Great thermometer
This is a great thermometer for a kettle. I prefer the ones with hinges so I don't have to lean over to read it but this one works fine.

Great addition to brew day
I have used this twice so far and it has been a great addition to my brew set up. The easy to read dial is great and installation was simple.

Very nice for the price
I like it just fine, haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. I put two bumpers made from 1/4" ss round bar around the thermometer so I wouldn't have to worry about breaking it.

great thermometer
I have mine attached to some stainless fittings at the outlet of my march pump. It allows me to keep an eye on my mash temp while recircing on my RIMS set-up. Never had a sticking issue and i've found this to be more durable than the previous poster states.

Useful for the un-initiated, but not as much for the experienced all-grain brewer
Neat concept, with the traditional ranges for all-grain brewing (protein rest, scarification, mash-out, etc) easy to read, but not really necessary if you have them memorized. You can save money and buy essentially the same product (brew pot dial thermometer) without the neat labeling for 3 bucks cheaper. You do need to tap it on occasion to make sure the dial isn't sticking a little. Might just be because I tend to abuse my pots (and thus dials) pretty well. Wish the glass was shatter resistant. I broke my last one by rolling the pot onto the dial by accident while flipping it over to drain it.
