Product Details
The highest quality beverage tubing for your highest quality beer. Retain your beer’s flavor with a draft line that prevents biofilm buildup and spoilage organisms. This line is made from a transparent non-toxic non phthalate PVC compound with the addition of antimicrobial protection. The protecting agent isn’t only on the interior of the tubing, like many other lines, it is present throughout the tube, eliminating any opportunity for microbes to take hold and ruin your beer.

We recommend the use of 3/16 Barbed Swivel Nuts (K123) for easy threaded connections to MFL draft equipment such as a CO2 Regulators, gas distributor manifolds, and Soda Keg Disconnects.

  • Made from non-toxic ingredients conforming to FDA standards
  • No phthalates, latex or animal-derived ingredients
  • Listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF-51) for food equipment materials
  • Antimicrobial ingredient is throughout the tubing, not only on the interior as with other products
  • Transparent for visual flow contact
  • Contains antimicrobial technology to guard against bacteria such as E. coli, listeria, salmonella, legionella, MRSA, campylobacter and pseudomonas
  • Well suited for food and beverage applications including non-fatty aqueous, milk and alcoholic beverages (below 20% ABV)
  • Heat sealable
  • REACH and RoHS compliant

    Off taste
Very strong plastic off-taste even after flushing lines repeatedly with both star-san and oxyclean. I was sent a replacement with identical results. It is unacceptable to me to ruin beer at the very last step.

After much research, I found and ordered Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra. This is lined with PET plastic (like a pop bottle) and has no off flavors (I didn't even flush it). The only disadvantage is that it is quite stiff and has very low resistance. However, these are minor when the result is perfect tasting beer. I hope NB will make the switch.

    It's Tubing
What can I say it's tubing. Only time will tell how well it holds up.

    Works great with my kegs
I use this on my tap lines to control foaming.
It is nice because it stays more flexible in the fridge than the 1/4' reinforced stuff I was using.

What is the line resistance with this type of tubing?
    C H on Aug 24, 2016
    BEST ANSWER: 2.2 ft
What is the recommended tubing length for a keg in a keezer?
    A shopper on Jun 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There are a lot of variables that you need to consider for the length of your lines.
You can go online and use search term - kegerator line length calculator - I use the
mikesoltys calculator to determine the length of my tubing. I use 10 feet .
    Hope this helps.
I've read that tubing can impart a plastic taste to beer that has been sitting in the line. Anyone have experience with this product?
    A shopper on Jan 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I definitely have had that experience. In fact, it doesn't need to sit in the line to impart plastic taste that ruins the beer. I don't understand how anyone can use this (maybe it's like the cilantro gene?). Brand new, flushed for 15 minutes with oxy clean and star-san. I could still taste plastic. I did this with a blind taste test comparing a different type of tubing. I got a replacement from NB and still had the same problem. I absolutely would not recommend this. I hope they start to carry Accuflex bev seal ultra which is what I ended up replacing this with and have had no problems at all.
I have a requirement for this type of tubing that is 3/8 OD. What is the OD of this tubing?
    William J Leeper on Apr 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for contacting Northern Brewer. The OD of the 3/16" ID tubing is around 7/16". At this time, I am not seeing any tubing that we carry that has an outer diameter of 3/8".
