Cream Ale All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
One of the only beer styles truly born in the USA, this classic American Cream Ale is medium-light bodied and smooth, gold in color and low in bitterness.
Cream Ales played a brief, but shining role in American beer history. As crisp, clean pilsners gained popularity in the US thanks to the influence of German immigrants, American ale-makers responded with a style that mimicked the lighter-tasting lagers sweeping the nation. Though nowhere near as wildly popular, Cream Ales remained an easy-drinking specialty style in the Eastern US for years to come.
Like the original, our Cream Ale is medium-bodied and smooth on the palate, gold in color and low in bitterness. Custom-built with quality ingredients, the recipe kit includes a specialty grain blend that adds some complexity with a clean, sweet malt profile and a hint of buttered toast in the aroma and flavor. A homebrewed "lawnmower beer," Cream Ale is pretty hard to beat as a summertime thirst-quencher.

Really happy with this kit. I wanted a cheap kit that fermented fast since it was my first time doing totally all-grain so I chose to go with this cream ale. As for yeast, I went with Safale US-05 because I wanted cheap and easy.
I think I fermented it for about a week to a week and a half before kegging it because I was too impatient! And wow, was I surprised at how it turned out. It was just the flavor I was looking for in a cream ale. I'd describe my results as a similar profile to Caste Danger's Cream Ale, which in my opinion, is one of the finest.
I hate to admit it, but it's already gone... I guess I need to make more! Keep it up NB!
Came well packaged. Thanks
Turned out fantastic. I added a few ounces of acidulated malt since it's a smaller grain bill. Came out to 4.5% ABV. Beer was clear, ~ 5 SRM, and had a very clean taste with subtle sweetness. I'll have to brew again soon because this beer won't last long.
Batch turned out great
I kegged this 2 weeks ago, all around good lite beer. will purchase again.
