Nut Brown Ale All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
Styled after traditional southern English brown ales, our Nut Brown Ale recipe kit is a great all-around beer. It's easy to brew, with a dark color and rich flavor that make it incredibly forgiving of mistakes. And it's mild enough for light beer drinkers, but characterful enough for more experienced brewers and beer lovers.
Complete with all the fresh ingredients you need, this beer recipe kit crafts an ale with a deep copper hue, fruity/caramelly flavor and aroma with toasty, chocolaty notes. Sound delicious? You won't have to wait long. Our Nut Brown Ale tastes great after just a few weeks.

Best recipe that my husband has EVER brewed..
This was my 3rd batch of Nut Brown ale, I have refined it to what I think rounds this beer out, and gets rave reviews,, I add to the normal hop schedule .5 oz centennial @ 45 min, and .5 oz citra @ 15 minutes, then Primary with s.04 with temp control, ramping up a few deg the last couple days of fermentation, let sit for about a month in primary, (tasted a tad bittier at bottling time) bottle it with 4.2 0z dextrose, bottle cond. 2 weeks All bitterness gone.. Smooth and one of the easiest drinking beers you have ever tasted, I just ordered another kit, I think this is my signature beer..
Great kit. The wort smells awesome. I added a little DME for ABV. See how it tastes
Great beer. I no longer have a LHBS so I've started using NB kits, and have never been disappointed.
I really miss being able to tweek a recipe in the shop, but these kits always have a thoughtful grain selection all the way down to the 2-row.
I made this as a "Bad Santa" brew, by making a "mash" from 2 lbs of dried cherries and prunes (3:1) on the stove top, and blending with the wort in the carboy. I also added ~1oz ginger and the peel of 1 large orange to the boil at 10 min.
The result is one of the best brews I've ever done.
