Speckled Heifer All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
Those among us who are or were farm-boys and -girls will correctly identify them as Holsteins; to the rest of the citified, sissified world, they're spotted cows. This multigrained Midwestern take on the American cream ale is an uncomplicated, unfussy, lovable guzzler. Pouring straw gold with a snowy pillow of froth, the nose is gentle and sweet, full of its consituent blend of malted and flaked barley and corn, and the flavor is more of the same. Hops give a little whisper of flowers and spice from the background. A tranquil time-out in a pint glass, a pastoral idyll, a sociable session ale dairyland-style: hey, sometimes a beer is just a beer. Have one.

This is a wonderful company! I am just about to brew this one and really looking forward to it.
I’ve never had the original so I don’t know how this recipe compares. But I liked a lot. Brewed it on the Grainfather.
One of my goto faves. Try to always have it on tap. Simple to brew, quick turn around, easy to add additions or build a new recipe off of.
Used this as a base for a blueberry beer.. used 1 can of northern brewers blueberry.. wasnt enough blueberry so I put 2 cans of blueberries pie filling and blueberry pancake syrup and added that.. might add more more blueberry corn syrup if it doesnt mesh out.. so far the 2nd jar of syrup not needed
I say just a good beer, because sometimes you just want a thirst quenching beer, and this is it.
