I bought this when I had no idea of what I was doing with all-grain. Most of the items in the kit are still unused but the beer was amazing
The kit worked as it was supposed to as far as I can tell. This was my first experience with all-grain, though I've done a lot of extract batches. The OG was only around 5. Not a whole lot of fermentation going on. Will give it another week and check FG.
Great experience it was a little more challenging than doing all extract brews. I did miss the mark on the OG because I didn’t have/use a Refractometer to obtain a good gauge of where I was in terms of mash efficiency.
so far so good on week 4 ferm one problem boil off yeld 4gallon of beer og 1.051
