Other than the priming solution not seeming to work, everything else about this brew turned out great!
A very tasty and full-bodied imperial stout with high ABV and just the right amount of bourbon barrel flavor
I used makers mark to soak the chips what a punch To compliment the oak aroma. Definitely made the difference versus using a well bourbon or cheap stuff without breaking the bank.
Fantastic brew. I soaked my Oak cubes in Buffalo Trace for 7 days prior to dumping the chips AND the bourbon into the secondary. It’s coming along great...bottle conditioning for another 3 months and it will be magnificent.
