Product details

Traditional Irish ales are malty, smooth and medium-bodied. But it's the deep copper-red color that gives Irish Red Ale its name. Our beer recipe kit captures that rich, radiant hue and signature toasty, sweet character using a blend of specialty malts and authentic ingredients, just like the original.

And, true to form, our Irish Red Ale is an immensely drinkable, crowd-pleasing brew. Its great taste, along with low aging requirements make this one of our best-selling kits.

Clean, smooth and incredibly approachable, Irish Red Ale isn't bitter or boozy, making it perfect for just about any occasion or palate.

Irish Red

I might have tried it a week or two to soon but overall it still was good. I'm going to let it chill for another week or so but I had no problem finishing the 16 oz bottle.

Good. Bit happier than thought

Easy to brew. Messed up soaking grains.. boiled instead. No haze though. Nice red color. Happier than expected. Just under IPA. Overall refreshing. 4.75% abv.

Mine was a little flat. Maybe add a little more sugar than recommended.
