Kolsch Extract Beer Recipe Kit
This pale, light-bodied golden ale is copyrighted by, brewed in, and named for the German city of Kön. Kölschbier is traditionally given a long, cold aging period like a lager, which makes for a very smooth and clean beer. A small dose of German Hallertau hops cuts the richness of the malt. "Spritzy" is a word often used to describe Kolsch - very refreshing, and a popular lawnmower beer for beer snobs!

Easy brew, great for summer!
I added zest of a lemon and an ounce of saaz hops for the last five minutes of the boil. So, I assume the original would great too on its own.
I loved this beer! Light, & crisp - just right fro a hot summer day
Nice refreshing brew, many compliments on it!
I just love the NB Kolsch recipe. It’s one of my favorites. I try to brew a batch every ten or so brews.
