Gaarden Hoe Witbier Extract Beer Recipe Kit
The perfect pint after a hard day work, Gaarden Hoe is an ode to the historic and refreshing Belgian wit. Classic wheat is expertly tilled into a traditional pilsner malt bill and modest, grounded hop profile. Coriander and bitter orange peel offer slightly tart and citrusy undertones to quench even the most parched palate.
A traditional recipe makes this witbier beer kit irresistible. The use of classic wheat and pilsner malts give this beer an incredibly creamy and smooth mouthfeel. The moderate strength of this beer makes it a great beer for sipping on a hot summer afternoon. Late additions of coriander and bitter orange peel really round out the slightly tart flavors from the yeast. The use of Saaz hops adds faint spiciness that balances perfectly with spice additions.

Used the recipe kit and followed directions, brew came out great. Excellent quality and taste. Will use Northern brewer kits again for sure
Overall it’s a fine kit but If you’re expecting to replicate the real thing you will be disappointed. There aren’t enough tangy notes that give the hoegarden such a wonderful taste. This tastes like a pretty generic ale which I suppose it is.
Recipe was great. My own personal taste would lead me to slightly reduce the orange/coriander content, but the brew came out exactly as advertised
ONE OF THE BEST BREWS I'VE MADE. DEFINITELY MAKING AGAIN.
I brewed this beer. Tried it after one week in the bottle. Horrible. Almost poured it all out. Now it 6 weeks in the bottle and I’m drinking it. Strong favor of banana. It’s nothing like Blue Moon but I’m drinking vit
