Phat Tyre Ale Extract Beer Recipe Kit
Copper-red with a fruity, slightly spicy aroma and flavor that comes from a combination of yeast and hops.
Not your typical amber ale, patterned after Belgian-style pale ales, which might be described as slightly less bitter, more fruity versions of English pale ales. Our Phat Tyre kit is copper-red with a fruity, slightly spicy aroma and flavor that comes from a combination of yeast and hops. A blend of Munich, caramel and Victory malts creates a sweet, toasty, bready character that lingers from the aroma through the finish.

I love this Phat Tyre Ale, it's a great replica of what I've had at other breweries. The overall taste is smooth and enjoyable, and my bottles always seem to carbonate well which makes all the difference. I've made a few IPA's lately so this is mild compared to some of the hoppier beer recipes out there, but it's a great one to sit back after a long day and cool off with.
great kit complete easy to brew
Simple to brew, followed all instructions. Cracked one open a week into conditioning, no carbonation. A little shocked, as every beer so far has carbonated in about 5 days. Gonna let them sit for another 2-3 weeks and see if they start to conditioner more.
It's good stuff!
First time making Phat Tyre Ale. (I prefer to call it Skinny Tire Ale since I’m a roadie, not a mountain biker.) Great recipe! Will make again.
