Ace of Spades Black IPA Extract Beer Recipe Kit
Got to know when to hold 'em. Know when to rack 'em. And know when to ante up and get in on the biggest game in town -- the Ace of Spades Black IPA beer kit.
This is no ordinary homebrew. We packed this kit with loads of fresh ingredients and decades of brewing expertise. Then we stacked the deck with a whole lotta hops. Four of a kind, in fact: Magnum, Chinook, Centennial and Citra. And get ready for the bluff, because this session brew drinks lighter than it appears. You won't find roasted coffee or bittersweet chocolate here, just smooth malty caramel with a touch of toast, and an intense hop presence with pine, citrus and fruity notes that stand no chance of getting lost in the shuffle. Play your cards right? There's no way to play them wrong with this kit. Any way you brew it, you'll be coming up aces.

Good beer easy to make, smooth creamy taste. Suggesting would be cold crash and let it set, the longer it had set up the better it was.
It looks like a stout, you want it to taste like a stout but its an IPA. I like this beer a lot and its a great conversation starter. I would certainly brew it again. Go for it!
This is one I recommend for those who want a new verity to an IPA. This is the second time I got this one, just a tip...use a 6 gallon secondary. The amount of dry hops added was too much for a 5 gallon to handle. Before bottling, be sure and filter out the dry hops by transferring the beer into a third vessel before moving to the bottling bucket/keg.
Great brew. Mostly followed the instructions, aside from adding some of my fresh hops off the vine. It's a nice cross between a stout & an IPA. Good spring or fall brew.
very good flavor, though I add a lb of corn sugar to kick it up a bit.
