German Alt Extract Beer Recipe Kit
Alt refers to an old-school, top-fermented style of brewing ale rather than a relatively modern bottom-fermented lager. Altbier is especially associated with the city of Dusseldorf. Alts are a bit difficult to explain to the uninitiated - kind of like a hoppy Oktoberfest? A very malty pale ale? You'll just have to try a glass of coppery-brown, rich, caramelly, and bitter ale to get the idea.

Malty smooth easy drinking love it
Just bottled the batch today so have not sampled it yet. My rating is for the quality of the kit contents and the service received when it was ordered.
Excellent beer had a great Carmel endnote. Would definitely order and Brew again.
Lightly malty with caramel and sweetness. I used Imperial Yeast G02 Kaiser that did a great job of Attenuation.
Very good flavor. I like the mild hop flavor it has. Great tasting beer.
