6 Gallon Glass Carboy
Glass carboys are airtight, easily sanitized and do not hold an odor. They can be preferred to plastic buckets and plastic carboys because they do not scratch easily and do not break down over time. If handled carefully, a glass carboy will last decades while giving the same great performance for fermentations.
This 6-gallon carboy can be used for the Primary Fermentation of beer (with a blow-off hose) or for the secondary fermentation of wine.
Seal with a Small Universal Stopper or a standard 6.5 rubber stopper. Our packaging experts have worked hard to create the best packaging and handling methods for glass carboys, so that this product arrives safe and sound.

A 5 gallon carboy is also available.

Exactly as described and a reasonable price.
It was of acceptable quality, with no sharp edges and arrived completely unbroken. It is much heavier when filled, so I would suggest buying a strap for carrying if you are going to carry it. Dont store ammo in it. Or tools and kittens. it is really hard to get them out afterward. I have noticed that after purchase, my libido increased by 10%. Which is double what it was prior to purchase. Women now flock to me, and my enemies flee before me. This is strange because it used to be the opposite. Thanks Northern Brewer.
I see others using plastic buckets but I’m not there yet. Lol. I like the glass carboy. I’m new to brewing and so far all the beers we have done have been really good. I like the carboy s even though they are a bit more difficult to clean
