Big Mouth Bubbler® EVO 2 - Siphonless 6.5 Gallon Glass Fermenter with Harness
The newest innovation in glass carboys, our Big Mouth Bubbler® EVO 2 Glass Fermenter now features siphonless transfer! Gone are the days of fumbling with hard-to-sanitize racking canes. Recently re-engineered with the help of world-class Polish master glassmakers to ensure sturdy, solid, superior craftsmanship. With graduated volume markings and our Big Mouth Bubbler® Universal Lid, this is the ultimate solution to your fermentation and transfer headaches. Problem solved.
The new Big Mouth Bubbler® Universal Lid fits all Big Mouth Bubbler® Fermenters. The Big Mouth Bubbler® Universal Lid is just like a traditional carboy bung, only bigger! Just as easy to sanitize and set in place too. Removable ribbed silicone ring ensures a positive seal to keep out pests, while the non-threaded design allows the lid to move preventing an out-of-control fermentation from dangerously pressurizing your fermenter.
Now Includes the Big Mouth Bubbler® carrying harness for lifting, transporting and ensuring your Big Mouth Bubbler lid stays firmly in place during even the most intense fermentations.
Fight oxidation and contamination by keeping your fermentor closed for transfers. Never open the lid to insert an auto-siphon, just turn a valve and you're set. Best of all, you'll have clearer beer. Gently rack liquid from the spout into secondary or bottle straight from primary or secondary without disturbing the trub. Make your brew day easier and your beer better with the siphonless Big Mouth Bubbler® EVO 2.
*Pro Tip: Save your box and use it as a cover for your fermenter!
6.5 Gallon fermenters are perfect for the primary stage of beer or wine fermentation. The extra head space allows for the production of krausen on a 5 gallon batch of beer.

This is my third carboy...all the same. Yes, they're heavy and fragile, but I really like the idea of fermenting in glass rather than plastic. This one came with the harness, but I haven't used it. I have a rack for them, so I use a siphon to empty them. You probably still want to get a siphon so you don't have as much sedament in your product. The spigot is great for when I'm filling my bottles. And I always fill the new ones with water for a few hours to make sure there's no leaks/cracks/ etc. Better to know before you put 6 gallons of grape juice in there! No, I've never had any of them leak from the container itself, but a few times I've had to carefully tighten the spigot.
This is a great fermentor. Solid, very functional and glass. My only complaint is the carrier, which is pretty unstable. If they could mold two grooves in the glass, near the top, to make it easier to lift and move, it would be perfect.
Great service fast delivery. Thank you
I only wish I had purchased the big mouth initially! Much easier to clean or dry hop! If you also make wine it’s great for degassing. I haven’t tested it out on a really high gravity beer yet.. interested to see how well the big stopper stays put
I love this fermenter. It's 6.5 gallon capacity gives you plenty of room for 5.5 gallons and sufficient head space. The lid works great, it's snug so the harness to me feels like "extra protection" but so far I've hadn't had the lid blow off. The harness is perfect for moving the Bubbler. It's heavy though and for moving from place to place I'd recommend a floor dolly of some sort so you only have to lift with the harness. The quality is incredible, the glass is beautiful, and it definitely does the job.
