Natural Blueberry Flavor Extract - 4 oz.
Natural Blueberry fruit extract in a 4 oz vial - add at bottling or packaging. Use 1 to 4 oz per 5 gallons for beer, or to taste for wine.
Made from natural extract flavorings.
Used this with a brew-kit and the results were awesome. Was the perfect amount of extract. Thanks for another great product
I can't say this about many extracts, this product actually tastes like real fruit. I've used it in wine and beer and it's phenomenal. I recommend using it in beers on the lighter side and white wines. Mead I suspect would be harder flavoring. Or just use more.
I used two tablespoons at bottling of a 1 gallon mead that had sat on two pounds of blueberries for one month. I felt the mead didn’t really taste like blueberries on its own and the flavoring helped a lot. Interesting that you can smell it even before I opened the bottle. I put the unopened portion in my small beer fridge and it smells like blueberries in there. Must be some potent stuff to escape the bottle like that. I haven’t tried it in beer or in anything over a 1 gallon batch. I just went to taste and it was pretty mild with just one teaspoon and I wound up with two table spoons in the end.
Everybody loves the flavor. Pour it in a glass and add 4 blueberries for a good looking and tasting beer.
Great flavor, used 3 oz in a 5 gallon batch in secondary for 2 weeks. It gave the batch great blueberry scent on the nose when opened. Plus a hint of blueberry aftertaste. Just right for the clone.
