Kolsch All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
This pale, light-bodied golden ale is copyrighted by, brewed in, and named for the German city of Köln. Kölschbier is traditionally given a long, cold aging period like a lager, which makes for a very smooth and clean beer. A small dose of German Hallertau hops cuts the richness of the malt. "Spritzy" is a word often used to describe Kolsch - very refreshing, and a popular lawnmower beer for beer snobs!

Made the all grain kit by BIAB and the keg was empty too quickly. Same flavors I remember from kolsch halls in Köln but with a fresher bit of breadiness. I will definitely make this again!
Just tapped it the other day and it turned out great.
The other beer drinkers in my family don’t like big beers or dark beers so I brew this for them. It’s light and easy drinking.
I brewed this kit and got a nice clean, light bodied Kolsch. I used the Lalbrew Koln yeast and while it didn't drop super clear, the flavor is crisp and well attenuated without much aging.
Wanted to make something lighter for friends and family who don't like hoppier beers. Came out perfect. Light with a great flavor.
