El Dorado Hops (Pellet)
This spectacular new hop combines excellent bittering properties with wonderfully unique fruity flavor and aroma.
El Dorado is an exceptional new dual purpose hop with both high Alpha Acid and intense flavors and aromas. As a bittering hop El Dorado lends a firm but balanced bitterness. This hop has bright tropical fruit flavors and aromas of pear, watermelon, and stone fruit. 14-16% Alpha Acid.

The only way I could be happier with Northern Brewer is if they paid me as an employee but didnt make me show up for work!!! Every product they have is top notch. Customer service is is the best I've ever dealt with. I'm a customer for life!!!
I used them for a New England IPA. They got a bit lost behind the Citra and Amarillo, but contributed some interesting tropical fruit notes.
I used these hops exclusively in a triple decoction American Hefe and they certainly added to the sweetness of the malt. Huge watermelon/ cherry aroma.
I used these in a SMASH with golden promise last year and really liked what they offered. Lots of stone fruit and sweet candied cherry. They're a very unique hop that I plan on playing around with some more. It might have been in my head but the hop itself seems to add sweetness, or maybe enhance the sweetness of the malts you use.
I used these in a late addition and also at flame out. I stored these hops in a freezer. in appearance, the hops were almost brown like, and the aroma was reminiscent of something great, but it just wasn't there any more. The hops were from BSG. I was disappointed that the hops weren't as bright as some of the fresher hops i used in the brew which had came from Hopunioin. I was struggling to want to use them at all.
