Product details

Best used in American IPAs but works well in English style ales.

House yeast is clean and allows either malt and hops to shine. This strain is extremely adaptable and flocculent enough to drop out of the beer quickly. Best used in American IPAs but works well in English style ales. House produces clean, crisp finish at cold temperatures with increased esters if fermentation occurs at the top of its temperature range.

*NOTE:*During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

So far it’s aroma is amazing.

The wort is now resting, we’re about to place the wort in the keg and some priming sugar, a little pressure and wala! I don’t think That’s how you spell it, what ever. Lol. Bottoms up!!

Brick warmer red and Holiday Festivus

Both beers are very similar. The only problem I had was with overflow during fermentation. This may have been my fault. I did a 30 second O2 add prior to pitching the yeast. Using dry yeast this works wonderfully. I think with liquid yeast. This may be too much and may have caused the overflow. As for flavor. Way better than the name brand. Head retention was awesome. Floated a quarter on the 1st beer I poured with my friends in the house. This was only 1 week in the bottle. Mouth feel was also better than the original. We did a blind taste test. The Festivus added the holiday spice pack. I only used about a quarter of the spices. Subtle but still aromatic and just a hint of flavor. My wife was very impressed. Had 25 22oz bottles of the Brick warmer and 27 bottles of the Festivus. Have 2 brickwarmers and 8 Festivus left. As you probably know I have ordered 2 more kits and am hoping they are as good. Here's looking fwd to brewing.and possibly drinking a couple of the beers while brewing. Thanks for your support. Oh yes, I also was recovering from covid during this time frame.thats why it took so long to get the reviews done. Sorry for the delay. mikey
