Mosaic IPA All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
Mosaic is the icon of single-hop complexity. Its kaleidoscope of tantalizing citrus, pine, tropical fruit, and berry notes decorate each golden-copper hued glass, alluding to an IPA recipe kit with many more varieties of hops. Capped in a thick, ivory froth, a meticulous arrangement of malts lends subtle caramel sweetness to a modest, bready backbone. Mosaic hops burst up from the depths in a prismatic eruption; each wave of evergreen grapefruit overwhelmed by sweeping pineapple-mango herbals. This spectral motif quiets into abstract bitterness for a smooth, refreshing, hop-forward finish.

This is my favorite brew! Very nice, drinkable IPA without too much hop bitterness. I’m also hitting north of 7.5% ABV. I’ve brewed it 3 times. My wife doesn’t even generally drink beer. She does now, and demands that I keep it on tap!😂 I have two kegs: one for experimenting, the other for Mosaic- period.
Beer tasted great, but asked for 7oz of hops and I received less than that. Other than that it was great.
This IPA is an easy drinking beer. I thought it might be too hoppy, going by the description, but it is just enough. My O.G. was 1.064 and it finished at 1.008. Not heavy, refreshing, easy drinking with a nice kick.
Mosaic hops are my favorite so I may be a bit biased. Well balanced malt backbone with a pleasant citrus finish. Bitterness is middle of the road. A very enjoyable IPA that I’ll definitely brew again
After making this kit I find myself looking for beers with Mosaic hops. If you like IPAs you will love this beer.
