I love this keg. Easy to clean. Great for small test batches or entry into kegging at least part of a 5 gallon brew. I'll probably buy a couple more eventually. They are kind of pricey, but they work well.
I like this concept a lot, and the keg itself seems great, but on the first batch, the co2 regulator wasn't working properly, wouldn't read under 15psi even after I released pressure, and the tap is leaky unless you continuously push on it.
The co2 side, admittedly, could be user error, but the tap is really not good... I will be looking to find a good alternative for that.
If the second batch proves to be a better experience, I will modify this review if possible.
Easier to haul around than a five gallon keg for those quick get together or up north to the cabin for the weekend.
This system has been great to get started with the legging process. It’s great for filling up with home brew or if you love draft beer, I’ve filled it with store bought beer and it works great for that too.
If you need anything by a certain time (like for a Birthday present) and want good customer service, order from anywhere else except Norther Brewer. They have inaccurate shipping times on their website and some customer service agents don’t care and will blame you for their error. Maybe it’s because they are owned by Anheuser-Busch. The product is really great, highly recommend.
