Reconditioned 5 Gallon Ball Lock Cornelius (Corny) Kegs (Four Pack)
This set of 4 reconditioned ball lock kegs plus 4 keg seal kits and 2 lb. of Oxygen Wash ships free and provides one of the best values. These used ball lock 5-gallon kegs have been tested and approved to hold pressure -- their most important task. Though the exteriors may have cosmetic imperfections, we guarantee that they are pressure-capable, as each and every one is pressure tested. Needed, but not included, is a CO2 cylinder, Regulator, and Ball Lock Gas (KX03) and Beverage (KX05) lines.
Looking for a more comprehensive system? See our Draft Brewer® keg systems.
During the pressure testing process, o-rings and outer-post o-rings are replaced if necessary. With each keg we have included an extra set of all new o-ring replacements as well. Each keg is cleaned with a caustic soda rinse -- but even so -- the keg may retain a sweet smell of soft drink. The keg exteriors have not had extensive cleaning, so as with most "used" soda kegs we recommend that you thoroughly clean the keg inside (again) and out before using.
This amazing price is worth a few dents! Because these kegs are used, many show exterior wear and tear that will not affect the keg performance to hold pressure. The affordability of buying "reconditioned" is definitely worth a few scratches and dents.
These kegs are sourced from a variety of vendors and may not look new, but they work like new, thus the major discounted off of the price of a brand new keg. If you are unhappy with the used 5 Gallon Ball Lock Kegs for any reason, we will take them back. However, you, the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges.
Note: Keg Lube can help prevent CO2 leaks and prolong the life of the keg seals.
- 4 (four) reconditioned ball lock kegs
- 4 (four) keg seal kits for used kegs includes 5 o-ring in each set
- 2 (two) pounds of Oxygen Wash
Note: In order to maintain inventory, our kegs are sourced from multiple locations. They are a mix of single and double handled kegs and we can not guarantee which style will be shipped when placing an order. Appearance will vary but all our kegs have been tested and approved to hold pressure.
I recently got into making hard cider and bought these kegs so I didn't have to buy sooo many bottles. I'm sure to nobody's surprise filling 2 with cider and looking at 2 empties got me into making some beer too! So..a good deal on the kegs, but it introduced me to a more expensive hobby at the same time. They all had minor blemishes and some small dents but all hold pressure well and came with spare o-rings and keg wash. The packaging was very good as well. Hope this helps anybody considering these.
I mean they obviously aren't new but these are in way better quality than what I have found on CL and FB marketplace and for a similar price, at least in my area
good clean sealed kegs
The worst part of brewing for me was always collecting empties- begging, reminding my friends to save their empties, etc.
Kegging is quick and easy. These kegs come with new seals installed, and a spare set just in case (as well as cleaner). A few minutes of cleaning, and you'll never go back to bottling.
There's just something so satisfying about having beer on tap... And since you can't go to the pub these days, if that keg happens to be on your back deck, so much the better.
Cleaned them up and replaced the seals. Now they work like new, the inside was pretty clean when I got them. They all pressurize right away, no issues. Can’t beat the price for a little bit of work.
