Italian Nebbiolo (6G) Wine Kit - Master Vintner Sommelier Select
The very best winemakers in the world know that exceptional wine starts in the vineyard, with the perfect combination of sunlight, soil, rain and careful cultivation. Crafting your own signature wines to that very same standard starts here...with Sommelier Select Wine Recipe Kits, ex clusively from Master Vintner.
This Italian Nebbiolo Recipe Kit features ingredients sourced at the peak of varietal expression -- grapes with deep ruby red color and a scent of rose petals, from the mineral-rich marl soil of Piedmont, Italy. When young, Nebbiolo dances with dry, spicy notes and endless red berries. With cellaring, the Italians say that it is like drinking velvet for its polished, integrated tannins.
Toast the moments that matter with Sommelier Select, and make deliciously drinkable wines that you're going to love sharing with family and friends.

Order came on time and the packaging was excellent as always. The fermentation starts strong on the second day. So far so good for now.
Since this is a wine kit, the product flavor review will be down the road. Northern Brewer has always provided qick service of any product I've order (hardware or ingredients). The product descriptions have been accurate, product reviews by others have helped me make decisions to purchase (including this kit). Can't wait to taste it in several months!!!!!
It's fermenting as we speak. Nebbola is a wonderful cultivar which I have made before so I hope this batch meets historic performance. I found the acid level rather low and boosted it up to levels characteristic for reds with tartaric acid before yeast addition. Let's hope my original measurement was correct. In any case in less than 24hrs CO2 was bubbling away.🎃
It’s past 2am. Daughters and SWMBO are asleep. Started this wine kit at the beginning of October 2018. Followed the instructions up to bottling. Just finished bottling about 20 minutes ago. The wine is absolutely fantastic. Instead of letting it sit 14-20 days to clear as noted on the instructions, let it sit at least 6-7 months before you bottle and you won’t mind having a glass while you cork.
Last kit I made (Cabernet) I bottled around day 30 last June. It didn’t get good until a few months ago. Now all but two bottles are gone.
This kit is absolutely amazing! I am still getting compliments on my wine one year later......
