Deeply malty and light graham cracker note

I've used Metolius multiple times and highly recommend it. As advertised, it has a rich malty flavor with a very subtle graham cracker note. If you're willing to pay the extra few dollars, this malt is worth substituting for more mainstream dark munich malts. Do not substitute for light munich malts, though.

It’s great malt.

Used it in a Festbier and loved it. High price point in comparison but still a wonderful malt.

Delicious but

I used a blend of Pelton and Metolius with a touch of Opal to make an Octoberfest (Marzen-style). Very tasty beer, but not much like a German beer. More like an American Amber,

Very tasty stuff, and I ended up buying a bag. BUT be a little careful, because it seems like this is stronger tasting than Munich from other maltsters. For example, it made a great doppelbock, but only after I cut it with 50% pilsner.
