Product details

Soft and lush, this deep intense wine exhibits flavors of round black cherry, plum, blackberries, and chocolate with beguiling notes of eucalyptus and cassis. Supple, velvety tannins round out a warm, lingering finish. The smooth tannins require less age than Cabernet Sauvignon, making this an ideal red for early and easy drinking.
Merlot pairs beautifully with many foods--try it with pâtés or other charcuterie, pork or veal roasts, rich, cheesy gratins, and even hamburgers.

Nice Box

Can't wait to break this thing open and start the process. The box is very rugged and strong. It's color is what you would expect in a card board box; a nice mellow, soft tan/brown. Seams are tape reinforced and intact. Obvious, great care was taken throughout the packaging process. I would recommend this box to anyone!
In a few months, I'll have an idea of the quality and characteristics of what is in the box, but apparently, since I was pestered to provide a review NOW, the interest must be in the carton itself. Go for it, you'll find great uses for this box after you remove the contents.

Still Clearing

Kit arrived promptly and in one piece. Mixed it up and left to primary fermentation... went smoothly. Secondary fermentation was also smooth... did a second transfer to a nother carboy and sampled. Was immature but flavor was great. Currently clearing. So far, a great kit with good flavor.

Two great table wines

The two wines I purchased I still in the fermentation stage, but they are responding very well. I expect a great final product/drink.
