300° L. A dark malt that contributes the dry, bitter, coffee notes characteristic of stouts. This roasted barely is less intense and lighter in color that the Simpsons Roasted Barley.

    I use this in my stouts for its roasty goodness. About 3/4 of a pound does well. Some people like more, but then it gets a little harsh. I like to add some debittered black malt to smooth it out some. Yummmmmmm.... Brewdog333
