Kolsch Extract Beer Recipe Kit
This pale, light-bodied golden ale is copyrighted by, brewed in, and named for the German city of Kön. Kölschbier is traditionally given a long, cold aging period like a lager, which makes for a very smooth and clean beer. A small dose of German Hallertau hops cuts the richness of the malt. "Spritzy" is a word often used to describe Kolsch - very refreshing, and a popular lawnmower beer for beer snobs!

This was the first extract kit I ever brewed from Northern Brewer and it continues to be a favorite year after year! You won’t regret trying this one in the warmer months.
My first time making Kolsch beer and it won't be my last as I have been very pleased with the results! I used the Wyeast 2565 Kolsch II Yeast. Very light bodied easy drinking beer with no aftertaste.
Stop reading reviews, this beer is the best one that you can make.
One of my go to recipes! Never fails to refresh and delight!
Hi-The Kolsch has been very well accepted from friends and family (and me). A light German style beer perfect for summer.
