Vintner's Harvest Peach Puree
Sterile peach puree can be added directly to the primary or secondary fermenter - do not boil.
Vintner's Harvest Purees can be used in any beer or wine recipe that calls for fruit. The purees contain no seeds and have been commercially sterilized. Because the seeds have been removed, purees are slightly more concentrated than whole fruit. Use 10-15% less peach puree than called for by recipe. Contains 3 lbs, 1 oz of puree.
Not a good peach flavor. Try apricot instead
Worked great in secondary for kettle sour. Tastes like a Bellini!
We found the peach puree to be surprisingly thin and watery. On the plus side, this made it easy to pour from the can into the fermenter. The puree had almost no sweetness and an acidity more like apricots than peaches. It did lend some flavor to the finished beer, but more apricot than peach.
Clearly a quality brand for brewers. Added to a sweet mead for a hint of fruit flavor. I need to wait a while for the final product, but preliminary tasting has me testing my patience.
