Blending fresh fruit flavors with the finest winemaking ingredients, this recipe kit produces six gallons of bottled bliss. A bold but subtle combination of Pinot Noir and rich, ripe blackberry, this wine is silky smooth in the mouth, with the cherry/berry spice of Pinot giving it a juicy, sappy finish.
Lightly chilled to highlight the body, it's not only refreshing and zesty, but also a perfect foil for dark chocolate, soft cheeses and lazy afternoons on the patio.

This was my first time doing wine, steps were easy to follow. I did 5.5 gallons of the recipe as directed and added oak chips to 1 gallon. The oaked wine was not as good at bottling but will withhold judgement until it ages a couple weeks, the 5.5 gallons were great right away.
I've had great luck with other Tropical Bliss wines, so I decided to try the Blackberry. The instructions are easy to follow and I am very pleased with the finished product. It's a mildly sweet wine, better slightly chilled. I broke out a couple bottles at Thanksgiving and everyone loved it!
This is the third kit we've done and first from this brand. Compared to the other two, this one was WAY more work. during the first five days, you had to stir every day. I'm much more used to just throwing everything in and setting a reminder for two weeks.
Taste wise, it was Ok. I'm not a huge red wine fan and was making it for other people but it was ok for being a red.
Not sure what it should taste like, maybe age will help it
this kit came with a one gallon sheet of instructions which is not as specific in detail as desired. I believe that it will be a nice wine when finished.
