Product details

Save time, water, and cleaning chemicals. The easiest way to clean your home brewery equipment.

This keg and carboy washer will make clean-up a breeze. Easily accommodates glass or plastic carboys to break down the toughest caked-on crud.

The base is designed to accommodate common homebrewing equipment while a submersible pump sprays cleaning solution down the sides of the vessel. Simultaneously wash your airlocks and stoppers hands-free.

Included adapters to clean keg posts and dip tubes (a soda keg disconnect and a short length of tubing are required but not included).

  • Designed by homebrewers for homebrewers.
  • Sanitizes or cleans kegs, carboys, buckets - greatly reduces time spent scrubbing at fermentation residue.
  • Hose barb attachments allow you to continuously circulate cleaning solution through tubing.
  • Shallow basin accommodates small parts like airlocks and stoppers.
  • Highly efficient reuse of cleaning solution means you can use just a fraction of the solution you would use for soaking fermentors, which saves money on cleaners and reduces water use.
  • Keg cleaning design allows you to pump cleaning solution through your liquid tubing, disconnect, dip tube, and keg all at the same time, without disassembling anything!
See our Krausen Killer Carboy Washing System for a complete starter set with cleaning chemicals.

This product should be used with a GFCI outlet or adapter for safety.

Carboy washer

Does the trick and saves me both time and money. Now I can mix smaller batches of sanitizer when sanitizing big carboys.

Should have read the reviews...

After trying the system out, I found the following:
A little too big for the sink - it has to be on the counter where it can splash everything. I use plastic to keep the water in.
Will foam a LOT with the wrong soap. I use dishwasher soap and it gets the keg/carboy REALLY clean!
No on/off switch
No sturdy way of keeping the keg (or carboy) on the tray. I lean the keg/carboy on the cupboards to make sure it doesn't fall over. Ugh, what a mess if it does fall over!
You have to manually remove the krausen ring
I should have looked at the reviews first! Most of them say the same things I have found. I probably would have checked out a few more systems for comparison purposes.

Love my Mark II Washer!

I use it to clean my Brewzilla 3.1.1, Spiedel 30L Fermenters, and Corny Kegs. Doesn't take up too much space. Minimizes wrestling with cumbersome items to hand clean. Minimizes water and PBW consumption. Reassuring to know my equipment is really CLEAN. Love it!

Pretty good

The only annoying aspect is that if you fill it with enough sanitizer to maintain constant higher pressure and you put a 5gal+ carboy or bucket on it it begins to foam to the point that it will overflow the container.

Also this doesn't eliminate the need to manually clean after a brew, it will not get krausen off the inside of a carboy.
