Product details

Made from premium oak, these toasted oak spirals increase extraction of aroma, flavor, and tannin by their greater surface area. Add to barrels, tanks, or carboys; suggested dose is 2 sticks per 6 gallons, but you can snap the spirals into smaller portions to adjust to taste.

"Wood" you guess it worked.

This is not complicated. Snap off a chunk that you need. Chuck it into your distillate and whammo. Dark woody spirits, wine or beer.

Barrel Aged Whiskey

Purchased these Oak Infusion Spirals to age Whiskey. Easily fitted the whole spiral into one gallon jugs I had previously used for wine. Take necessary precautions when using these ubiquitous wine jugs because, I found them to be very fragile. Better to use the 3 liter wine jugs instead since they don't break as easily. Better yet, will be looking for a ceramic jug for my next batch. Plan on keeping my Whiskey for many years to display in my wine cellar. A Healthy Salute! (Fine Wine & Spirits)

Love these

I've used these 3 times now, and I continue to be really pleased with the results. I soak them in whiskey for 6 weeks, and then add to secondary (where I keep them for another 6 weeks). The toasted oak flavor is on point, and it adds some excellent vanilla notes to your big brew. Love these.

Adds a great flavor

The oak spirals are great for my mead. I soak the spirals in bourbon, for about 2 months, and then add to the final racking of my mead. Gives it that great bourbon barrel flavor.
