Yeast worked great. I have never had this brand fail to ferment.
I haven't used it yet!
First time using this type yeast, it is working now. It's so far so good. Have used other Lalvin yeasts before with good results. Don't see why this one would be any different .
Just wanted to give y'all a heads up, that the alcohol tolerance is 16% on this one. Northern Brewer lists it as 14%, but the Lalvin website states 16%.
Hope this helps!
As for the yeast, great choice for red wine (which is what I used it for) and the final product is amazing. No problems with fermentation. Just make sure to give this some heat... High heat requirements!!!
I've tried several kinds of yeast, and so far this one is my favorite. This yeast yields a sweeter taste than any other I've tried.
