Vintner's Harvest Raspberry Puree
Sterile raspberry puree can be added directly to the primary or secondary fermenter - do not boil.
Vintner's Harvest Purees can be used in any beer or wine recipe that calls for fruit. The purees contain no seeds and have been commercially sterilized. Because the seeds have been removed, purees are slightly more concentrated than whole fruit. Use 10-15% less raspberry puree than called for by recipe. Contains 3 lbs, 1 oz of puree.
Used this in a raspberry wheat brew. 3.5 lbs of pure raspberry puree in a 5 gallon batch was great. Nice crisp raspberry taste. Will definitely use again

I used the entire can added at secondary. Has a strong raspberry flavor and happy with how my first sour turned out. Would buy again!
I used this with the 5 gallon American Wheat Ale extract kit and the Omega Hothead yeast (Alabama temperatures being uncertain in the spring). I used the entire can of raspberry purée in the batch during a secondary fermentation period after transfer. Bottled after about 2 weeks in secondary and conditioned about 3 weeks. I like it. It’s light & fruity with just enough raspberry tartness. That said, next time for fun I may add a bit of Brett along with the purée during secondary for my spring beer or perhaps use an amber malt for more body allowing the raspberry to act as a more subtle part of the brew for cooler weather. It should be fun experimenting with different variations.
