An anti-foam agent that can be used during fermentation to eliminate messy blowoff. Can also be added during the boil to reduce the risk of boilovers.

An anti-foam agent that can be used during fermentation to eliminate messy blowoff. As soon as fermentation is over, this insoluble compound settles out and remains behind when the beer is racked. It will not affect the finished beers flavor, appearance or head retention. Can also be added during the boil to reduce the risk of boilovers. Use a few drops per gallon for boil, or two drops per gallon for fermentation. Comes in a one ounce eyedropper bottle. Keep refrigerated until use.

Great purchase

Works like a charm for both the boil and fermentation. One of the best upgrades that I've made to my process. You don't need two drops per gallon as suggested. I add 4-5 drops just prior to boil and don't add any more into the fermenter and have had no more boil-overs or issues with krausen coming through the airlock. Best of all, no more sitting over the kettle with a spray bottle.

Best ever

This is the best defoamer to use in your brew. It doesn’t affect the taste or fermentation.

LOVE THIS

I have spent to many batches standing over the pot stirring for 45 mins to keep it from boiling over. I put this in as directed and I was actually able to sit down and wait. There was a slight increase when I added hops towards the end but after a few minutes the level went back down. I would highly recommend
