Product Details

Finally, the best of both worlds! The Tap-N-Fill system gives you the ability to carbonate your beer to perfection and the flexibility to choose your beer’s destiny: keg it to serve at home, bottle it for portability, or both! Whatever you choose, your homebrew will thank you.

This system provides you with everything you need to keg and serve with ease. The Tap-N-Fill is convenient, sets up quick, and helps you serve better beer. The included Draft Brewer® Ball-Lock keg is easy to disassemble for cleaning and has replaceable seals. The fully-assembled tap lines snap right onto the keg. Best of all, it takes just a swish of sanitizer to prep your keg for the next batch. Don’t wait around for your beer to bottle condition. Enjoy your brew sooner and carbonate beer with a CO2 tank (not included) in 1-2 days instead of the standard 2-4 weeks in bottles.

No more guesswork to reach the perfect carbonation in your beer either. Adjust the pressure in real-time and guarantee perfect pours. The ultra-durable CO2PO® Dual-Gauge CO2 Regulator makes carbonation easier than ever with recommended settings for major beer styles. Hand-adjustable knobs are twist-and-go.

When you need to take some of that beer with you (or enter a competition), the bottling system is ready to provide the perfect fill. The Last Straw® is painless to clean and premium materials prevent your beer from getting contaminated. The lines you need to utilize The Last Straw® are already assembled too. Bottling perfectly carbonated and sediment-free beer has never been easier.

When you're ready, expand your system with additional kegs and a larger gas distributor. Build a keezer using a chest freezer and the ThermoStar® Dual-Mode Digital Temperature Controller.

Note: Keg Lube can help prevent CO2 leaks and prolong the life of the keg seals.

Includes everything except a CO2 tank to share and enjoy draft homebrew.

It really makes filling bottles easier
As someone who bottles there beer I should have gone to this system along time ago. The Last Straw bottle filler make it so easy to fill bottles.

The tap-n-fill keg system is a serious bargain at its sale price of $249, which it has maintained since November of 2016. Consider the single keg system at $139. With the TNF system, you get a last straw bottle filler, which alone makes up the $100+ difference AND you get a dual regulator, which prices out at $150 alone vs the single body C02PO at $80. This translates to easy ability to convert this to a flex keg system and have a bottle wand at the ready to take your brew on the road to share with friends. Quality: the CO2PO regulator came smokin new out of the box looking just like the picture. Forget what anybody else here says. The beer and gas lines for both the keg and bottle filler are pristine and well put together. All I did was ensure the nut was tight on the grey gas fitting and I passed a 20psi leak check with zero bubbles. I haven't put the Last Straw to use yet, so I can't speak for it. Now, my keg came brand new yet dented. NB took accountability for something that could have very well been UPS's fault and offered me either exchange or a gift card. The dent easily popped out with 20psi and even though I was totally honest with them about that, they still gave me $50 to spend on site. I completely recommend NB to my friends and all their products along side that. Outstanding NB, and I hope your team keeps up the standard of true-to-life customer service. Thank you.
Dent as received. No stars deducted. Thank you NB for your excellent customer service.

Different regulator than described
I bought this in January. I remember being a little miffed that what I received was a little different than what is described here. The keg was marked differently, which is no big deal, but the regulator had no rubber protectors as shown and described on this and the CO2PO product page, no relief valves (if that's what those are with the keyrings hanging down at 45 degree angles), the gauges had different dial faces, and the knobs were different.

I write this review now because my gas bottle did eventually tip over, and I had to replace the high pressure gauge. If the protectors had been included, it may have survived.

The keg and bottle filler work just fine.

Great keg and regulator. The distinction between gas inlet fitting and liquid outlet fitting is not very pronounced. Otherwise great setup for the price.

A practical system
I received the Tap-N-Fill system promptly as I expect from Northern Brewer. When I set it up I discovered that the dual regulator was defective. The needles on the gauges would stick making it impossible to determine the actual pressure. A quick email to NB and a new regulator and return label for the old one was at my door in a couple days. The new one works well. I misunderstood the purpose of the Last Straw bottler when I ordered. I interpreted "force carbonate and bottle at serving pressure" to mean that the Last Straw would force carbonate the beer as it is bottled. This is not the case. You must force carbonate in the keg and then bottle the already carbonated beer. I prefer to bottle condition so this is not a problem. The set up was much easier to use and much less mess than using a bottling straw and gravity. The bottle filler does not leak and shuts off as soon as lifted off the bottom of the bottle. I bottled about 50 bottles today in less than an hour including set up and sanitizing. Clean up was easy also. I would recommend the system. My rating would be five stars if I had used it enough to comment on durability.

Must Have item
Very easy to use this keg system. Everything you need is included to get you setup and kegging your own beer. Very simple setup once you get everything figured out and assembled. Bottle filler is awesome to use and easy to clean.

What are the dimensions of this keg? Just trying to figure out the minimum size refrigerator/freezer I would need to store it.
T Z on Jul 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 24" tall to top of handle
9" in diameter

Hope that helps
What is the height of the keg with the regulator mounted on it?
Jeffrey L on May 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: People saying the gas disconnect will not be taller than the handle are off. The gas disconnect is roughly .5" higher than the handle. The apex of the gas line coming off of it requires about 26.5" of clearance. I'm giving this detail because I'm shoving my keg in a Black and Decker mini fridge and the keg has to be situated a certain way to make it work.
i have never kegged my home brew before, how dificult is this?
A shopper on Dec 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It’s not very difficult, mostly it’s just a more expensive investment and it might take you a short time to figure out how to use your co2 and regulator properly. It quickly becomes like second nature though. You’ll also want to take into consideration how your going to keep the keg cold, whether it’s purchasing a kegerator, keezer, or just making room in a fridge. I haven’t found clean up to be bad at all. I just rinse out the keg between uses and run some star sans through the line. Bottling is more of a chore than that.
I am looking to keg my homebrew for the first time. Is there a reason I would need to use the bottle filler vs. just pouring into a bottle like I would pour into a glass?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Buy a bottle filler. You'll be glad you did. The bottle will fill much faster and with absolutely minimal foam or spillage. Speed isn't so important when your dealing with a one gallon batch. But if you're bottling a five gallon batch, it is essential.
Does this kit come with the flex reg to function at multiple PSIs or is this a single pressure reg system?
Gavin on Jul 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The kit comes with a dual port pressure regulator. It can be used for either dual kegs at two different pressures of the last straw to bottle and force carbonate.
Just curious what the difference is between this one (Draft Brewer Tap-N-Fill Keg System" vs the Draft Brewer Single Keg system. One seems to be much more expensive than the other, and the only thing i can tell from the description is that one comes with the equipment you need to bottle from the keg. I don't really need the bottle portion, and am just looking to shorten the time from brewing to drinking, if you know what i mean. I'm thinking just the normal Single Keg System will do just fine, but am curious what the differences are before i make my choice. Is there some hidden gem in this Tap-N-Fill that I am missing?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you got it. The tap and fill is a smart way to load bottles. There is a purge with CO2 option for the bottle then you dispense from the keg into the bottle with the same CO2 levels.

The keg is just a keg but the smile after a beer is special.
