Good product
Well made, good price. Will work with half of my carboys, but too large diameter for the others.

Infuser too wide
The infuser would not fit in my glass carboys. I have two, a 5 gal and a 6 gal and it would not fit in either one.

Rookie mistake
Product looks nice but unless you fill your carboy to the top you can not actually use all 16inches of its length, I also had the tube fall off the stopper inside the carboy and I do not recommend putting hop pellets in it as they will swell and get stuck, glad they aren't in the beer but it's going to take a while to ram them out of there. I ordered a big mouth and the depth charge but may still use this unit if I can plug both ends of the tube and just drop it in the carboy.

wishing for something like this for hops
I would love to see some company out there to make something like this for dry hopping in second stage or any time during fermentation

Can this infuser be used with oak spirals?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, if the oak spirals fit inside, which I believe they will. Consider, however, that the purpose of using oak spirals (as opposed to oak chips, for example) is to increase the surface area exposed to the wine (or whatever it is you are oaking). Putting the spirals in the infuser will defeat this purpose.
Will this fit in a 3 gallon carboy without bottom out?
Ryan Bender on Mar 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure what "without bottom out" means, but it's too tall for 3 gallon. Almost to the bottom of a 5 gallon.
Does this infuser fit on your 5 gallon oak barells you have for sale? Does the bung fit and make a good seal for fermenting beer?
A shopper on Sep 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This isn't designed to be used with a barrel. Cheers!
Are these compatible with big mouth bubblers or only standard carboys?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, this will work with the Big Mouth Bubblers as well as a standard carboy. Cheers!
Could this be used for light Dry hopping or wood additions in beer as well?
A shopper on Feb 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This would be great for wood additions in beer, but the holes are a bit too large to be a benefit for dry-hopping.
