Product Details
The filler has a tapered fitting that accommodates 5/16”, 3/8” & 1/2” siphon hoses. To use, simply attach the siphon hose to the spigot on the bottling bucket & filler unit, turn the spigot on, push the button on the filler & the filling begins! When the bottle is full, the unit automatically shuts off. The rubber piece that goes into the bottle can be moved to adjust the fill level. The nut on the top of the unit allows regulation of the flow.

Works Great
This worked great. I ran water through it first to adjust the blow off tube and set the fill level then did my first 5 gallon batch. I worked smooth and filled perfect every time to the same level in each bottle. Saved me a lot of time and hassle over the old stick filler type. No mess and easy clean up. I do recommend this.

This filler makes bottling very easy, mess free, and straight forward. While a second bottle is filling, the first can be corked, and by then the second one is full, and while the third one is filling the second one can be corked...goes really fast ! Well worth the very inexpensive cost.

Slick!
To be honest, I didn't think this thing would work, but I figured I'd give it a try anyway. It works like a charm! Very slick! That said, it is nearly impossible to clean. Also, the spigot where you attach then incoming wine is a little too small - I had to use a little PTFE tape around it to make sure the hose connected securely. But these aside, it's still totally worth it. I hope there's a beer version, too!

Good&NotSo
The good: It is fast, particularly when using the big bore autosiphon. No more trying to find the “sweet spot” for a needle valve filler in bottles with punted bottoms; they are as easy to fill as flat bottoms. The not-so-good: It is not easy to clean. It is not mess-free. No matter the flow rate setting, mine intermittently squirts out wine bubbles from the base of the flow rate knob on top, so keeping a rag handy is advised.

Can this bottle filler be used for beer?
P H on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You could, but the fill level on standard beer bottles would be off since this filler is designed for wine bottles. I would stick with a wand for beer as I also wouldn't want the added air this could make as the beer was dropping into the bottle. The wand fills from the bottom up
Does this come with the adjusting nut AND the
attachment for bottling carbonated wines?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can adjust fill height with a friction sleeve on the filler it does nit come with any attachments
Used this for the first time and had a mess. What do you do to keep the wine from coming out the intake line. We put hose clamp on it and still had wine come out when the bottle was full and the shutoff value was in place. Had to use a bucket to keep the mess off the floor. Plus I had wine spitting out the top nut. I was bottling red wine not sparkling so took the tube off. Seems to have lots of issues. Any thoughts?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, I had a problem like this also. I experimented with added different thickness washers just under the cap that you push down to start the flow. It stopped the wine from coming out of the top of the unit. I have bottled several hundred bottles of wine since I added the washer (( ended up only needing one washer of 'average' thickness)
and have not had any trouble since....the thing is great when it works as mine does now after the change. I can't tell you how the washer fixed things, but it did.
When using this for the first time a lot of bubbles accoured in the filler itself is that normal?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have found that if I hold the filler slightly up from the bottle it stops the bubbles as well as the spitting from the top. Be sure to watch the fill level because this will affect the shut off.
